The Parish Church of Figueira

The Parish Church of Vilar, dedicated to Our Lady of Expectation, is an important landmark of the parish’s religious and cultural identity. Rebuilt on the site of the former church, demolished in 1947, the present building was inaugurated on 26 July 1953, keeping the faith and traditions of the local community alive.
